UK-based inforcer has completed a $35 million Series B funding round to expand its software platform designed for Managed Service Providers working within Microsoft’s technology stack. The financing, led by Dawn Capital with participation from existing investor Meritech Capital, will support the company’s growth plans as demand increases for specialized Microsoft security and artificial intelligence services.
The platform addresses operational challenges faced by MSPs who manage Microsoft 365 environments for small and medium-sized businesses. With Microsoft serving as the preferred vendor for 80 per cent of SMBs globally, spanning 350 million users, the complexity of implementing and maintaining these systems has created significant barriers for service providers lacking specialised expertise.
Simplifying Microsoft Management at Scale
inforcer’s cloud-based solution enables MSPs to standardise, deploy, and manage Microsoft 365 policies across multiple client tenants simultaneously. The platform handles configuration, compliance monitoring, backup, and restoration processes that traditionally required extensive manual intervention and specialist knowledge.
Chief Executive Jamie Daum emphasized the shift in how MSPs approach infrastructure management. “In the modern, Cloud-first landscape, where all business data sits within Microsoft’s Cloud or other SaaS apps, the Microsoft tenant is the new server for MSPs” Jamie Daum explained.
The company was founded by MSP industry veterans who understood the operational complexities firsthand. This background has influenced the platform’s design, focusing on practical solutions for real-world deployment challenges rather than theoretical improvements.
Market Opportunity and Expansion Plans
Dawn Capital General Partner Evgenia Plotnikova, who will join inforcer’s board following the investment, highlighted the market potential. “Inforcer is rapidly capturing an enormous opportunity space” Evgenia Plotnikova noted, adding that the platform’s MSP origins contribute to strong customer advocacy.
The funding arrives as artificial intelligence adoption accelerates across business sectors. Many SMBs already possess licensing for Microsoft’s AI capabilities through existing subscriptions but struggle with implementation due to setup and management overhead. Inforcer’s platform aims to bridge this gap by simplifying deployment processes for MSP partners.
The company currently operates offices across five countries: the United States, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Denmark, and Australia. The Series B capital will support expansion of inforcer’s MSP community throughout 2025, building on existing traction in international markets.
Government Recognition and Industry Impact
Secretary of State for Science, Innovation, and Technology Peter Kyle acknowledged the company’s contribution to digital security objectives. “Economic growth is the cornerstone of our Plan for Change, and ensuring the digital security of our businesses is essential if we are going to realise its potential” Peter Kyle stated.
The recognition comes as the UK government prepares its Cyber Security and Resilience Bill, designed to strengthen the nation’s digital infrastructure. Companies like inforcer support these objectives by enabling MSPs to implement robust security solutions for their client base.
Beyond security applications, the platform helps MSPs maintain current licensing configurations and ensure compliance across client environments. This automated approach reduces the risk of security gaps that can emerge from manual management processes.
The investment reflects growing investor confidence in business-to-business software platforms that address specific operational challenges within established technology stacks. Rather than attempting to replace existing systems, inforcer focuses on optimising how service providers interact with Microsoft’s comprehensive offering.
